Syrian regime forces targeted Zakia Khan Al Shieh road with heavy machine guns coincided with violent clashes between the Syrian army and armed opposition groups at Al Salam highway.
Zakia Khan Al Shieh road is the only road that supplies the residents with materials and food, as it considered the most dangerous where it always subjected by the Syrian army, while all other roads are still closed. Most residents were killed while passing by Zakia road, even residents called the road with “road of death.”
