Italian Navy Rescues Hundreds of Palestinian and Syrian Migrants.

The Italian Navy teams rescued 130 people who were on board of a boat that was launched from Libya heading towards the Italian territory, and the work is still going on to reach the rest of them off the island of Lampedusa, south of Italy and they were estimated as1000 immigrants of different nationalities, including hundreds of Palestinian and Syrian refugees, who were launched  from Libyan cities “Zliten, Zuwarah, and Sabratha” heading towards the Italian territory, while some reports said the teams rescued all immigrants.
At the beginning of this week a boat was sinking, as it was launched from the Libyan coast in the Mediterranean Sea and about 300 migrants sank, as the Office of (UNHCR), announced that about 3,500 people have been killed while trying to reach Europe across the Mediterranean during 2014 while more than 200 thousand people were rescued during the same period.
In the same context, the UNHCR launched a private initiative in Central Europe bordering the Mediterranean, which provided procedures that will put an end to the tragedy of migrants and riding boats of death, including the steps of the European Union countries in general and the countries of asylum in particular.
