The vicinity of Handarat camp for Palestinian refugees witnessed violent clashes for days between the Syrian Armed Opposition Groups and the Regular Army alongside with Al Quds brigades. The Regular Army seeks to impose its control over the camp that forms a strategic point for the Army. The Opposition Groups also seek to go in the direction of Handarat town and the Central Aleppo Prison.
It is mentioned that all the residents of the camp were forced to leave their camp due to the violent clashes that broke out 682 days ago which ended with the control of the Opposition over the camp.
