Activists reported to the AGPS that only pro-Syrian Regime families were allowed by the regular army checkpoints to return to Husseneia camp in Damascus suburb. Some of these families are members of factions and security committees, while the rest of residents did not return yet.
Meanwhile, members of the checkpoints arrested some youths as they tried to return to their camp, while the regular army explodes a number of relief activists and media workers’ houses inside the camp, including former official of Hamas, Mahmoud Zaghmot.
It is noteworthy that the regular army and Palestinian groups seized control of the camp after violent clashes between them and the Syrian armed opposition groups, but their checkpoints prevented the return of people for more than 655 days.
