Palestinian activists and residents of Al-Husayniyya camp demand to reveal the fate of their relatives inside the Syrian regime’s prisons, and to take serious moves to release them, stressing on the importance of sending a delegation to make talks with the Syrian military security regarding those who were arrested because of similarity of names though that they had applied for return and got their approval prior to their arrest.
Activists have accused the Syrian regime forces located at the camp entrance’s checkpoint of arresting more than 20 civilians including women and elderlies, such as “Abu Hisham Alqublaoa” 80-years-old who was arrested while returning to his house in Husayniyya camp in Damascus Suburb.
Moreover, the checkpoint soldiers, on 26.08.2015, had prevented the family of “Owayyid Al-Hasan” from returning back to their home inside the camp, and arrested one of them, knowing that three other family members were tortured to death in the Syrian regime’s prisons; Lieutenant Ahmed and Mohammed and Ayman on charges of desertion from the Palestine Liberation Army PLA.
It is worth mentioning that the Syrian army had reopened the camp again at 16 August 2015 and allowed some families to return to their homes.
